Pune – Gagan Narang Sports Promotion Foundation conducts 1st ISSF “B” EST Course Certificate Program.

Pune, September 27: Gagan Narang Sports Promotion Foundation (GNSPF) with its vision to broad base the Olympic sport of Shooting announced to conduct the 1st International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) “B” EST course under the kind guidance of National Rifle Association of India (NRAI). The Course, which will help the Indian officials hone their skills in the understanding and implementation of the electronic scoring target (EST) systems, is being conducted & hosted in India to support shooting officials from the country. The 4 day program for the officials will be conducted in Balewadi, Pune, starting today after the successful completion of the National “C” EST course in August 2019.

 

The course will be conducted in English by renowned instructor and member of the ISSF Technical committee, Mrs Jadaranka Strukic from Croatia who has served as Chairman of the RTS (Result, Timing and Scoring) Jury at ISSF World Cups / Championships on numerous occasions.

 

The ISSF B EST Course will be attended by officials from different parts of the country who have successfully completed the National C EST course conducted by GNSPF and thus qualified for the B EST Certification.

“It is a matter of great pride for GNSPF to be involved with this Course, as the successful candidates from India will be eligible to officiate in the international Competitions. Pawan, Co-founder of GNSPF, and also the first Indian to be selected as Jury for the TOKYO 2020 Olympics added.
