Pune: Ganja Worth Rs 1.5 Lakh Seized From Talegaon Dabhade, Two Booked
Talegaon Dabhade 4th Oct 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police have arrested a person and booked one more accused and have seized ganja worth Rs 1.5 lakh in the case. A case in this regard has been registered at Talegaon Dabhade Police Station.
According to police, the police had received information about a person trying to sell ganja near the Talegaon Dabhade Railway Station. The police team accordingly laid a trap and the accused identified as Vishal Vasant Patange (43), a resident of Mangalwar Peth area of Talegaon Dabhade was arrested while Sunil Shinde, another accused involved in the case has also been booked.
The police have seized 3 Kg and 600 grams of Ganja worth Rs 1.5 lakh from their possession. A case under sections 8(c), 20(b) (ii) (b) and 29 of the Narcotics Drugs Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS). Further investigation in the matter is underway.
