Pune: Garwa Hotel Owner Ramdas Akhade Attacked With Sword

Pune, 21st July 2021: Attacked with a sword, Ramdas Akhade (41), owner of Garwa Hotel in Uruli Kanchan (Tal. Haveli), died at Jahangir Hospital in Pune around 2.30 am on Wednesday, 21st July. He was attacked at around 10 pm on Sunday, 18th July. After the attack, Ramdas Akhade’s struggle with death failed after 52 hours. Ramdas Akhade is survived by his mother, father, two brothers, wife and two children.

 

Garwa Hotel is owned by Akhade in Uruli Kanchan area on Pune-Solapur highway. While Ramdas Akhade was sitting alone in the hotel on Sunday night, the accused, who had entered through the hotel door, attacked Ramdas Akhade four times with a sword. He was critically injured in the incident and was rushed to Vishwaraj Hospital in Loni Kalbhor.

 

Akhade’s condition was getting worse. As a result, Ramdas Akhade was admitted to Jahangir Private Hospital in Pune on Tuesday afternoon for further treatment. However, the struggle ended on Wednesday morning after 52 hours. Police have arrested three suspects in the attack, but they are yet to find the mastermind of the attack. Primarily it is said that the attack was happened due to business competition.
