Pune–Ghazipur Bi-Weekly Summer Special Announced; Return Trains to Terminate at Hadapsar
Pune, 11 April 2026: To manage the surge in passenger traffic during the Summer travel season of 2026, Central Railway will operate bi-weekly special trains between Pune and Ghazipur on special charges.
As per the revised schedule, the return service Train No. 01432 from Ghazipur City will now terminate at Hadapsar railway station instead of Pune station.
Train No. 01431 Pune–Ghazipur City Special will depart Pune at 06:40 hrs every Friday and Tuesday from May 1 to July 14, 2026, completing 22 trips. The train will reach Ghazipur City at 19:05 hrs the following day.
In the return direction, Train No. 01432 Ghazipur City–Hadapsar Special will depart at 04:20 hrs every Sunday and Thursday from May 3 to July 16, 2026, also covering 22 trips. It will arrive at Hadapsar at 16:20 hrs the next day.
The train will halt at several stations en route, including Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Ankai, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Madan Mahal, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Vindhyachal, Varanasi, Jaunpur, and Aunrihar.
Each train will consist of 18 ICF coaches, including one AC 2-tier coach, five AC 3-tier coaches, six sleeper class coaches, four general second-class coaches, and two guard-cum-luggage vans.
Bookings for Train No. 01431 will open from April 15, 2026, at all computerized Passenger Reservation System centres and on the IRCTC Rail Connect platform.
The general second-class and guard/luggage vans will operate as unreserved coaches. Tickets for these can be booked through the UTS system with normal fares applicable for superfast, mail, and express trains.
Passengers can check detailed timings at intermediate halts through the NTES app or the official railway enquiry portal before commencing their journey.
