Pune: Goons Attack Passersby With Chopper On Road In Pimple Nilakh

Pimpri, 6th July 2021: A shocking video has surfaced in the Pimple Nilakh area of Pimpri-Chinchwad, in which two goons are seen attacking vehicles on the road with a chopper. Both the accused have been arrested.

The accused persons have been identified as Pratik Santosh Kharat and Chetan Jawar. They attacked a total of ten vehicles. On the same day, a case had been registered against them at the Sangvi police station for trying to kill a man for money.

According to police, the incident took place around 9 pm on July 3 near Takle Chowk on the riverside road in Pimple Nilakh. The accused, under the influence of alcohol, attacked the vehicles while running around on the main road with a chopper. One of the accused was trying to stop the vehicles and the other was attacking carelessly with the chopper. Some bikers escaped injury, while some four-wheelers were damaged.

This serious incident spread fear in the area. Citizens stopped the vehicle and watched the bullying of the accused. The shocking video of the incident is currently going viral.

Jitendra Thakur (23), a native of Jharkhand, who was cooking food in his shed near the spot, was also attacked. Based on his complaint, Sangvi police station registered an FIR against the accused persons. They had attacked him with a chopper on his head.
