Pune: Guardian Minister Holds Review Meeting for Facilities in Hinjawadi

Hinjawadi, 26th April 2023: District Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil recently held a review meeting to discuss the facilities in Hinjawadi village, Pune. Among the issues discussed were the increasing wire netting near the Wakad flyover and Kasturi Chowk, as well as unauthorized advertisement boards.

Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Collector Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh, and other officials were also present during the meeting.

During the meeting, Patil instructed the concerned authorities to take immediate measures to address these issues. He suggested that MIDC should prepare a new proposal to implement CCTV, and that waste should be managed through private agencies. In addition, he emphasized the need to remove unauthorized advertisement boards and to take help from the local police if necessary.

Patil also directed that notice should be given to the concerned authorities in case of delays by the contractor regarding the work of the Public Works Department. He further emphasized the need to address the traffic problems in Wakad Chowk, Nande Road, and Maan Road, among other issues.

The meeting was an opportunity for officials to review and discuss the various problems facing Hinjawadi village and to develop effective solutions to address them.
