Pune: Hairdresser Arrested For Molesting Minor Girl While Cutting Hair

Chikhali, 25th November 2021: A hairdresser allegedly committed an obscene act while cutting the hair of an eight-year-old girl in Chikhali.

Based on a complaint from her grandmother, Pimpri Chinchwad police have arrested the accused identified as Mohammad Shebu Mohammad Hanif Salmani.

According to police, the eight-year-old girl had gone with her grandmother to a hairdressing salon in Chikhali area. At that time, the accused put the girl in a chair for a haircut. As per the complaint lodged with the Chikhali police station, the accused had inappropriately touched the girl while cutting her hair.

After going home she confided in her grandmother about the incident following which a complaint was filed with police.
