Pune: Man And Woman Found Dead At Lodge In Dighi, Police Suspect Murder And Suicide

Dighi, 25th November 2021: Police have found the naked bodies of a man and a woman at a lodge in Dighi today. Police suspect that the man killed his girlfriend and then committed suicide.
According to Pimpri Chinchwad Police officials, deceased Prakash Thosar (30) and a 30-year-old married woman were having an extramarital affair for the past two years. The two used to meet at a lodge in Dighi area. Police said that the two used to stay overnight and leave in the morning.
The two had come to the lodge last night. They were to check out today morning but they did not open the door of the room when a waiter knocked on the door. As the door was not opened even after a long time, Dighi police station was informed.
Police broke open the door and found Prakash hanging from a fan while the woman was on the floor. Both of them were without clothes. Dighi police are investigating the matter further.
