Pune: Harsh Crackdown On Law Breakers In Mohammadwadi, Citizens Say That Is Not Enough

Mohammadwadi, 16th July 2021:  The Pune traffic police has launched stringent crackdown on traffic rule violators in Mohammadwadi starting from Raheja Vista to Ganga Florentina Societies.

Residents of the society had complained about growing nuisance of anti social elements performing stunts on public roads endangering lives of citizens. The citizens in their petition to the Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta have pointed out that anti-social elements, motorcycle gangs, criminals, and goons were frequenting the area.

The area is becoming a hub of criminals and FIR must be lodged against the criminals operating in the area and their helpers. Citizens have complained that goons in cars and mopeds were terrorizing citizens by speeding on the public road. Residents have alleged that illicit activities were taking place and police had to be very vigilant of organised crime syndicates slowly making their base in the area.
