Pune: Heavy Rain Cause Flooding Around Kothrud Societies, PMC Team On Spot
Kothrud 28th Sept 2023: The city witnessed heavy rain in some parts on Thursday evening causing waterlogging in some areas. Waterlogging was also reported near Pratidnya Mangal Karyalaya in Kothrud where several societies around this area were also flooded.
Several shopkeepers were spotted removing the water on themselves around flooded shops. The officials of fire brigade team were rushed to the spot as the issue was highlighted to the administration by guardian minister and MLA from Kothrud constituency Chandrakant Patil. Officials from the drainage department of PMC were also rushed to the spot for help.
