Pune: Hinjawadi IT Park Faces Commuter Outcry Over Newly Constructed Wakad Flyover – Bhumkar Chowk Service Road
Wakad, 26th July 2023: Hinjawadi IT Park has recently been grappling with growing discontent among commuters and residents due to the deplorable state of the newly constructed Wakad flyover – Bhumkar Chowk service road. The road, which is barely a few weeks old, is already riddled with numerous potholes, creating significant inconveniences and potential safety hazards for road users, particularly during the ongoing monsoon season.
Adding to the frustration is the fact that travelers already endure a lengthy detour to reach Pashan, Bavdhan, and Warje areas via Satara Lane from Hinjawadi. The poor condition of the newly constructed road only exacerbates their plight, as vehicles attempting to navigate around the potholes are at serious risk of accidents.
