Pune: HIV-Positive Husband Stabs Wife When She Refuses To Sleep With Him
Pune, 27th January 2023: A husband attacked his wife with a knife in the Bibwewadi area after she refused to sleep with him. The wife was seriously injured; she is undergoing treatment in a private hospital. A case has been registered against the husband. The 27-year-old wife has filed a complaint at Bibwewadi police station.
The husband of the complainant woman belongs to Madha taluka of Solapur district. He is infected with HIV. So his wife is separated from him. She is staying in the Sukhsagar Nagar area of Bibwewadi. The husband had insisted his wife sleep with him.
He was angry because she refused. He then stabbed her with a knife near Hiraman Bankar School in Bibwewadi. The search is on for the missing husband. Police sub-inspector Chhaya Gadilwad is investigating.
