As per the investigation conducted by the Government Railway Police (GRP), the incident occurred in 2014 when the lifeless body of a 15-year-old girl from Wadala was found in a bag on the platform of Talegaon railway station. Subsequent investigations revealed that Jugdar had lured the girl away, and she was subsequently coerced into living with Rahul and Jishan.

The body was found on 7th May 2014. The police swiftly apprehended the culprits within 48 hours of the crime. According to the authorities, the victim’s hands were found tied, and visible marks were evident on her neck. A handkerchief had been used to gag her.
Investigations revealed that the girl was murdered in Nalasopara and her body was subsequently transported in a travel bag to Talegaon by cab. It was uncovered that the culprits had initially intended to recruit the girl into their gang, but she had rejected their offer. Fearing exposure, they resorted to the tragic act of murder.
