Koregaon Park, 5th September 2021: A maid has been booked by Pune city police for allegedly stealing valuables worth Rs 1.15 lakh from a 69-year-old woman’s house.
An FIR in this regard has been registered at Koregaon Park police station. The incident took place around 9 am on 14 November 2020 at Balkrishna Apartment on Dhole Patil Road.
According to police, the elderly woman had gone for a bath and kept her mangalsutra worth Rs 1.15 lakh on the dressing table. When she returned the mangalsutra was missing.
Police Sub Inspector Shrikant Sawant is further investigating the case.
