Pune Mayor Murlidhar Mohol Elected As Vice President of All India Council Of Mayors

Pune, 5th September 2021: Pune Mayor Murlidhar Mohol has been elected as the National Vice President of the All India Council of Mayors.

 

The All India Council of Mayors is a national level council of mayors and the president of the council and the mayor of Agra, Naveen Jain, has elected Mayor Mohol as the vice-president.

 

Commenting on the selection, Mohol said, “This position at the national level is an honour not only for me but for all Punekars. This will not only increase the enthusiasm to work but also strengthen the sense of responsibility.”

 

He added, “After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) handed over the mayoral post to me, I have tried to do justice to the post, to work hard and honestly. The same process will continue in the future.”
