Pune: Housing Society In Wakad Installs Electric Vehicle Charger Station

Wakad, 22nd March 2023: On the occasion of Gudi Padwa, the Aishwarya Residency Society in Kaspte Vasti, Wakad inaugurated an electric vehicle charger station. The station was opened by ex-corporator Rahul Kalate and society members in a ceremony held on the premises.

Society Chairman Satyam Kumar Singh stated that the station features five bikes or scooters from different companies and two fast-car electric charging stations for residents. The society has also implemented a range of green initiatives such as rainwater harvesting, solar rooftop plants, and tree planting.

Thanks to the society committee’s efforts, the electricity and water bills are almost zero, which benefits society residents. All members of the society, including Secretary Anuradha Thakur, Treasurer Parag Tanna, Sunil Bajari, Prashant Sinha, Ashish Chaurasia, Kalpana Kankaria, Amey, Krunal, Vijay, Sanjeev Sharma, and Nilkanth Chopde, were present at the ceremony.

This new electric vehicle charger station is a significant step forward in the society’s efforts to promote sustainability and reduce their carbon footprint.
