Pune: ‘Human Chain’ Protest Against Bavdhan Waste Project On May 8

Pune, 5th May 2022: Consistent efforts are being made by various organizations for the conservation and cleanliness of rivers in Pune. Environmentalists are going to protest through ‘human chain’ as the Bavdhan waste project proposal, which was canceled at the general meeting of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), has been resumed.

Kishor Moholkar, Virendra Chitrao and Anil Karanjawane on behalf of the organizing committee informed in a letter that ‘Human Chain’ has been organized at 10 am on Sunday (May 8). The route of the chain will start from Chandanj Chowk through Surabhi Hotel on the Bhugaon Road.
