Pune: Intelligent Parcel Delivery System Launched At Infotech Park Post Office

Hinjawadi, 30th November 2021: Postmaster General (Pune Region) G Madhumita Das on Monday inaugurated ANVIT (Ahar Nisham Vitaran) – an Intelligent Parcel delivery system, which facilitates delivery of Postal articles/Parcels round the clock at the convenience of the addressees under Infotech Park Post Office.

This is a pilot project, which will be made available to the public served by the IT Park post office free of cost. To avail of this service, the mobile number of the addressee is to be available with the Post Office. An automated SMS alert will be sent to the recipient along with OTP/code, which is required to be entered to access the ANVIT (Pod Bank Locker).

This will benefit the customers and will improve the delivery experience. This is an innovation in the last mile delivery of the mail value chain and is relevant in these times of pandemic. M/s Padrones Logistic Pvt. Ltd. is a partner in this pilot project.

PMG Das took the first delivery of SP Parcel booked by the PNCE Division after the inauguration.
