Pune: Investigation Initiated in Talegaon Dabhade JCB Burning Case, Municipal Councl Files Complaint

Talegaon, 10th January 2024: The Talegaon Dabhade Municipal Council has registered a case following the burning of a JCB (Excavator) rented to a contractor. The incident occurred between 7:30 PM on Monday (8th) and 7:30 AM on Tuesday (9th) at the Solid Waste Collection Center in Talegaon Dabhade. A case has been filed against an unknown person in connection with the incident.

The manager of the contracting company, Sandeep Kolekar, filed a complaint at the Talegaon Dabhade Police Station regarding the burnt JCB.

According to the police, Sandeep Kolekar, working as a manager in the company Ashok Enterprises, had rented the JCB (MH 14 JU 5271) from the Talegaon Dabhade Municipal Council. The JCB was parked at the Talegaon Dabhade Solid Waste Collection Centre when an unknown person set it on fire. As a result, the JCB was completely burnt.

Talegaon Dabhade Police is investigating the matter further.
