Vishrantwadi, 12th November 2024: Sunil Tingre’s victory in the upcoming Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election on the 23rd is a certainty, according to former MLA and BJP leader Jagdish Mulik. He appealed to the Mahayuti workers not to get swayed by opposition rumors and urged them to intensify their efforts to reach every voter. Mulik made these remarks while addressing a gathering of Mahayuti workers at a meeting in Tingrenagar.

“The Mahayuti government is executing significant development initiatives for women, farmers, students, and various social groups. The opposition is spreading rumors because they have no real issues to campaign on. Don’t believe in the hearsay. Our coalition is strong, and we are united,” Mulik asserted. He also encouraged the workers to convey to voters that Sunil Tingre is the candidate of the Mahayuti alliance.

BJP Pune City President Dheeraj Ghate, while addressing the gathering, praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed his desire to bring similar governance to Maharashtra. “The Modi-led government is delivering excellent work at the centre. We aim to replicate that success in Maharashtra. All Mahayuti parties must campaign in unity, promoting the alliance’s shared vision. The atmosphere will further shift in our favor after Modi’s rally,” Ghate said confidently.

Earlier on Tuesday morning, a campaign rally covered areas like Sunita Nagar, Sainagari, and Ganesh Nagar in the Vadgaonsheri constituency. Alongside Mahayuti candidate Sunil Tingre, notable attendees included former MLA Jagdish Mulik, Narayan Galande, Sandeep Jarhad, Dnyaneshwar Shinde, Usha Kalamkar, Mahesh Galande, Vishal Sali, Asha Jagtap, Manoj Pachpute, Jyoti Javalkar, and a large number of activists and officials.

Tingre highlighted the ongoing infrastructure development in the region as a testament to the support he enjoys from voters. “Rajmata Jijau Udyan, the largest park in Pune, the removal of BRT lanes, the construction of a grade separator and flyover at Shastrinagar Chowk, the Shirur to Ramwadi double-decker flyover, and the metro will revolutionize the traffic system. Voters trust my efforts for better water supply and basic amenities in the area,” Tingre stated.

Adding a touch of excitement to Tingre’s campaign, renowned actor Bhau Kadam joined the padayatra on Monday evening. Kadam’s presence drew a crowd, with residents eager to take photos and selfies. Kadam encouraged voters to support Tingre, further boosting the campaign’s momentum.
