Pune: Jayant Patil Urges Voters to Punish Mahayuti Government for Maharashtra’s Downfall in Vadgaonsheri

Vadgaonsheri, 15th November 2024: In a grand public welfare meeting held today in Dhanori, Maharashtra State President of the Nationalist Congress Party – Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP), Jayant Patil, rallied voters to support Bapusaheb Pathare, the NCP-SP candidate for Vadgaonsheri constituency, in the upcoming Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Elections.
Patil called on voters to punish the Mahayuti government for the damage it has caused Maharashtra, stressing the need for accountability. He specifically mentioned the incident involving the toppling of the Shivaji Maharaj statue and criticised leaders like Fadnavis, Shinde, and Ajit Pawar, whom he labelled a “cowardly trio.” Patil accused them of working for the rich and giving bribes, further stating that the people of Maharashtra should hold them accountable.
The meeting also saw Patil paying tribute to the victims of the Kalyani Nagar Porsche accident case while praising Bapusaheb Pathare’s leadership and his commitment to the welfare of the people. He urged voters to elect Pathare by a massive majority, emphasising that he was the right candidate to represent Vadgaonsheri and that the current MLA had tarnished its name.
A large gathering of Mahavikas Aghadi officials, activists, and voters attended the event, where notable figures like Bapusaheb Pathare, Jagannath Shewale, Prakash Mhaske, and others showed their support for the campaign.
Patil further criticised the ruling BJP government, stating that it had come to power through dishonest means and had failed to bring about real development. He accused the government of making decisions that had set the state back by 20 years. “The government is all about slogans, but in reality, it has failed to address people’s issues,” Patil declared. He urged voters to choose a development-orientated MLA, like Pathare, who would lead Vadgaonsheri into a new era of growth.
Bapusaheb Pathare’s Commitment to Development
Bapusaheb Pathare also spoke at the meeting, asserting his determination to bring real change to Vadgaonsheri. “There are candidates here who don’t know what they are doing. They have brought disrepute to this constituency. Once elected, I will not let Vadgaonsheri decline. I will make Vadgaonsheri a model of modern development,” Pathare stated. He reaffirmed his track record as an activist who had fought for the community and promised to continue working towards the constituency’s development if elected. “The people of Vadgaonsheri have always trusted me, and that trust will not be broken,” Pathare concluded.
