Pune: Jewellery Worth Rs Eight Lakhs Stolen From Woman In Market

Raviwar Peth, 11th October 2022: There was an incident where gold jewellery worth Rs 7.25 lakh was stolen from the bag of a woman who came to sell the jewellery in Saraf Bazaar.

 

She has filed a complaint at the Faraskhana police station in this regard. The complainant woman is residing in the Uruli Kanchan area. The woman and her relatives had come to the Saraf market in Raviwar Peth to sell the jewellery.

 

The jewellery shop owner took the jewellery. At that time, the woman noticed that jewellery worth Rs 7.25 lakh was stolen from the bag. The complainant woman had travelled from the Uruli Kanchan area by Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) bus and rickshaw and came to Saraf market.

 

The police have expressed suspicion that the jewellery was stolen from the woman’s bag during the journey. The police have seized the footage of the CCTV cameras of Saraf market in Raviwar Peth for investigation and police sub-inspector Amol Kale is investigating the matter further.
