Pune: Jewelry Worth Over Rs 5 Lakh Stolen from Vehicle at Magarpatta Mega Centre
Magarpatta, 7th March 2025: A daring theft occurred at the Mega Center in Magarpatta, Pune when thieves smashed the window of a businessman’s car and stole jewelry worth Rs 5.3 lakh. The incident took place yesterday afternoon when the victim had parked his vehicle in the complex’s parking lot.
Upon returning to his car after a brief period, he discovered that the window had been broken and the jewelry, which was kept in the car’s compartment, was missing.
The victim, a resident of the Wadki Nala area on the Saswad-Hadapsar road, immediately filed a complaint at the Hadapsar Police Station. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. Sub-Inspector Hasan Mulani is leading the probe, which includes reviewing CCTV footage from the premises to identify the culprits.
