Pune: Jhansi-Hadapsar Special Train Announced; Bookings Open September 22
Pune, 19th September 2025: Pune Division of Central Railway will run a special weekly superfast train between Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi and Hadapsar to manage the anticipated passenger surge during Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath festivals.
Bookings for Train No. 01923 (Hadapsar–Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi) on special charges will open on September 22, 2025, at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and through the official IRCTC website, www.irctc.co.in.
The special service will operate on a Train on Demand (TOD) basis with a total of 10 trips in each direction.
Train Schedule and Composition
- Train No. 01924 (Jhansi to Hadapsar) will depart every Saturday at 19:40 hrs from Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi and arrive at Hadapsar at 16:30 hrs the following day. This service will run from September 27 to November 29, 2025.
- Train No. 01923 (Hadapsar to Jhansi) will depart every Sunday at 19:10 hrs from Hadapsar and reach Jhansi at 15:00 hrs the next day, operating from September 28 to November 30, 2025.
The train will consist of 17 ICF coaches: 1 AC 2-Tier, 3 AC 3-Tier, 7 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class, and 2 Luggage cum Guard’s Brake Vans.
Halts
The train will halt at the following stations: Bina, Rani Kamlapati, Itarsi, Bhusawal, Manmad, Kopargaon, Ahmednagar, and Daund Chord Line.
Booking and Ticketing
- General Second Class tickets can be booked via the UTS mobile app or at UTS counters.
- Passengers are advised to verify timings through www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in or the NTES mobile app before travel.
