Pune: Jhansi–Hadapsar Special Trains Extended With 16 More Trips

Pune, 21st September 2026: Central Railway has extended the services of two weekly Train on Demand (TOD) special services between VGL Jhansi and Hadapsar for the upcoming Pooja and Diwali festive season, adding 16 trips across the two services in each direction.

The extended trains will continue to operate with their existing routes, timings, stoppages and coach composition.

Train No. 01922 VGL Jhansi–Hadapsar Special, earlier notified up to September 30, 2026, will now operate every Wednesday from October 21 to November 18, with five additional trips.

Its return service, Train No. 01921 Hadapsar–VGL Jhansi Special, earlier notified up to October 1, will operate every Thursday from October 22 to November 19, also with five additional trips.

Another service, Train No. 01924 VGL Jhansi–Hadapsar Special, earlier notified up to September 26, will operate every Saturday from October 17 to November 21, with six additional trips.

The corresponding return service, Train No. 01923 Hadapsar–VGL Jhansi Special, earlier notified up to September 27, will operate every Sunday from October 18 to November 22, with six additional trips.

Reservation

Advance reservation for the extended trips of Train Nos. 01921 and 01923 on special charges will commence from September 22, 2026, at all computerised Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and through the IRCTC website.

Passengers have been advised to verify the latest arrival and departure timings at en-route stations through the Indian Railways enquiry portal or the official NTES app before commencing their journey.
