Pune: Kondhwa Police Raid On Gutkha Sellers, Two Arrested
Kondhwa, 7th February 2023: The Kondhwa police arrested two people who were selling and stocking illegal Gutkha in the area. The action was taken at Pappu Paan Shop on NIBM Road. The police have seized Gutkha worth six lakh rupees from the custody of the accused.
A case has been registered at the Kondhwa police station in this regard. The arrested suspects are Jeetlal Sriramnandan Yadav (39), a resident of Bhoite Chal, Kondhwa Khurd, a native of Uttar Pradesh, and Abhijit Shivling Katke (25), a resident of Yewalewadi, Kondhwa Khurd.
Police raided the Pappu Pan shop and arrested the accused who were selling gutka. Gutkha worth Rs 5 lakh 73 thousand has been seized from them. During the investigation, the accused informed the police that they were buying Gutkha from Guddu Khan, a resident of Kondhwa Budruk. Kondhwa police are looking for the suspect.
