Pune: Lawyer Threatens Farmer with Gun During Land Dispute in Hinjawadi; Video Goes Viral
Kasarsai, 6th June 2025: A fight broke out over land reclamation near Pune’s Hinjawadi, during which a lawyer allegedly threatened a local farmer with a licensed gun. A video of the incident has gone viral, showing the confrontation.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 2) Vishal Gaikwad said that, according to prima facie reports, an argument occurred between lawyer Sandeep Bhoir and a local farmer in Kasarsai. During the altercation, Bhoir reportedly pulled out his licensed firearm and showed it to the farmer.
Both parties have been taken to Hinjawadi Police Station, and further legal action is underway, DCP Gaikwad added. Further details are awaited.
