Pune: Lila Poonawalla Foundation Announces Scholarships To Young Women For Higher Education
Pune, 11th September 2023: The Lila Poonawalla Foundation (LPF) has announced an excellent opportunity for young women pursuing undergraduate degrees in Engineering, Engineering After Diploma, Pharmacy, or Nursing in Pune. LPF is inviting scholarship applications from academically talented young women hailing from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
For the past 27 years, LPF has been a beacon of support for female scholars, providing scholarships and a wide array of employability skill-building programs. To date, LPF has empowered over 14,000 girls and young women across various regions, including Pune, Wardha, Amravati District, and Nagpur City in Maharashtra, as well as Hyderabad in Telangana and Bengaluru in Karnataka. Many of these recipients have gone on to establish successful careers with reputable organizations, thereby making significant contributions to their families and communities.
Eligible candidates are young women who have secured admissions in colleges and universities within the Pune district for the upcoming academic year of 2023-2024. These candidates must be pursuing Bachelor of Engineering (4 Years), Bachelor of Engineering after Diploma (3 Years), Bachelor of Pharmacy (4 years), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (4 years).
The application deadline varies by field of study:
- For Engineering: September 9th, 2023
- For Pharmacy: September 16th, 2023
- For Engineering After Diploma: September 27th, 2023
- For Nursing: October 7th, 2023
