Pune: Lila Poonawalla Foundation Invites Applications For ‘Merit- cum- Need’ Based Undergraduate Scholarships
Pune, 12th December 2021: Great news for girls pursuing Engineering, Pharmacy and Nursing degrees. Lila Poonawalla Foundation (LPF) has invited scholarship applications from academically bright girls who come from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.
Those girls who have taken admission to Undergraduate Studies in 2021-2022 for the first academic year in any college of Pune district can apply.
Started by Lila Poonawalla, Chairperson, LPF (recipient of the Padma Shri, 1989) and Firoz Poonawalla (Founder Trustee, LPF), LPF has a multitude of success stories where LILA Daughters, its scholarship awardees have achieved the pinnacle of success in their professional and personal lives.
From the last 25 years, LPF has awarded scholarships to over 10,800 girls across Pune, Wardha, Amravati District and Nagpur City in Maharashtra and Hyderabad in Telangana.
Priti Khare, CEO of Lila Poonawalla Foundation, said, “LPF is inviting online scholarship applications from the Indian girl candidates studying in colleges/ universities in Pune district, who wish to pursue Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (4 Years) and Bachelor of Engineering/Technology after Diploma (3 Years), Bachelor of Science (Nursing) and Bachelor of Pharmacy education, starting with the academic year 2021-2022.”
