Pune: Living in Aundh, Baner or SB Road? Expect Disruption in Water Supply on Tuesday
Pune, 23rd March 2026 : The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a day-long disruption in water supply across several parts of the city on March 24 to undertake urgent repairs to a major pipeline near University Chowk.
According to the civic body’s water supply department, the work will involve carrying out maintenance of the main distribution line. Officials said supply will resume from March 25.
Localities expected to be affected include Senapati Bapat Road, Asha Nagar, Gokhale Nagar, Bahiratwadi, Bhosale Nagar, Kasharkar Wadi, Aundh-Baner, areas around Modern College, Model Colony and Chikhalwadi-Bopodi, among others.
The PMC has urged residents in these areas to store adequate water in advance and use it sparingly during the disruption. Officials said the repairs are necessary to ensure stable water supply during the summer months.
