Pune: Magarpatta Chowk Traffic Modifications Begin, Public Feedback Invited

Magarpatta, 15th February 2025: Traffic changes are being implemented in the Hadapsar area from today until 1st March on an experimental basis to ensure smooth traffic flow. Deputy Commissioner of Police Amol Zende, in charge of Pune Police’s Traffic Branch, has issued these orders. He has urged citizens with objections or suggestions to submit them to the Traffic Branch Office in Yerawada.

Under the Hadapsar Traffic Division, the changes are as follows:

1. Magarpatta Chowk is being temporarily closed for modifications as outlined below.
2. Since the U-turn at Magarpatta Chowk is being removed, vehicles should take a U-turn at Vaiduwadi Chowk to reach their desired destination.
3. Vehicles coming from Mega Centre should take a U-turn from beneath the flyover.
4. Commuters travelling from Hadapsar to Magarpatta should use the flyover.
5. The signal at Magarpatta Chowk will be deactivated, and the road beneath the flyover from Hadapsar to Magarpatta will be closed.
6. Vehicles travelling from Magarpatta towards Pune should use the flyover.

Along with these changes, the following modifications will also be in effect:

1. Vehicles approaching from the front of the Magarpatta Police Post on Magarpatta-Kharadi Road should turn left 150 meters ahead, take a U-turn at the puncture in front of Mohan Dhariya Paryavaran Garden, and proceed to their destination.
2. Vehicles travelling from Raskar Chowk towards Magarpatta City Police Post/Seasons Mall should turn right at the junction, take a U-turn at the Amanora Mall signal, and continue to their destination.
3. Vehicles exiting Amanora Mall intending to take a right should first take a left and then make a U-turn at the puncture near Pizza Hut.
