Pune: Maharashtra Mental Health Institute Leads Awareness Procession in Pashan for Mental Health Week

Pashan, 9th October 2023: The Maharashtra Mental Health Institute in Pashan, Pune, today organized a public procession as part of Mental Health Week. The event took place in Pashan village and aimed to educate the community about the importance of mental well-being.

The procession was led by Dr. Nishikant Thorat, the Chief Administrative Officer of the organization, along with key figures from the institute’s Social Work, Nursing, and Psychology Departments. Dr. Krishna, Dr. Prafull, Prof. Deepika, and Prof. Sumit provided guidance throughout the event.

Interdisciplinary Team Shows Support

Associate Professors Dr. Srikanth and Dr. Ashwini, along with Professors Ashwini, Nikam, and Saili, also participated, showing their valuable cooperation by inspecting the awareness procession. The interdisciplinary team emphasized the collective effort required to address mental health issues effectively.
