Pune: Maharashtra State Board Extends Deadline for Class XII Examination Application Submission

Pune, 9th November 2023: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced that the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC or Class XII) examinations will be conducted in February-March 2024. In light of this, the deadline for online submission of examination application forms has been extended until Monday, November 20, 2023, to accommodate students wishing to participate in the upcoming exams.

The extended deadline pertains to a range of categories, including regular students looking to appear for the Class 12th examination, regular students pursuing business courses, re-examination students across all branches, private students holding name registration certificates, students seeking admission under the grade improvement scheme, and those interested in taking occasional subjects or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) subjects. These application forms should be submitted through their respective junior college principals via the official website, following the existing procedure.

Dr. Subhash Borse, Divisional Secretary of the Mumbai Divisional Board, has provided an additional update regarding the payment of examination fees by higher secondary schools/colleges. The date for downloading the challan and settling the fees has been extended until Friday, November 24, 2023, specifically for the 12th-grade examination.
