Pune: Man Arrested For Raping 15-Year-Old Girl
Pune, 7th August 2022: A man was arrested by the Swargate Police for raping a 15-year-old girl. The girl was staying in a colony with her parents and her younger sister. On July 28, the 15-year-old, following a fight, left her house.
The girl’s father soon filed a missing person complaint at the Swargate Police Station. The girl returned home after learning about the registration of the case, following which the police took her to Sassoon hospital for examination. The reports of the examination showed that the girl was sexually assaulted. On further questioning, the girl stated that she was raped by the accused about six months ago.
The accused had sexually abused the young girl when he noticed she was alone at home. The girl explained that he had threatened her into not telling anyone about the incident. The police investigated further and registered a case against the accused.
