Pune: Man Attacks Wife, Cuts Her Hair With Knife After Argument

Pune, 10 August 2021: A horrifying case of domestic violence has come into the light in Pune when a woman’s husband cut her hair with a knife after she asked for permission to go to her sister’s wedding.

The woman, who is a doctor by profession, had asked her husband if she could go to her sister’s wedding, which led to an argument between the couple. During the argument, the husband angrily attacked the victim and cut her hair with a knife. The accused also stabbed the victim on her back with the knife. After which, the wife rushed to a police station and filed a complaint against the accused.

As per the police, the incident happened due to a family dispute.

The accused is Ravi Digambar Dhadwad (38), who is also a doctor, while Pallavi Ravi Dhadwad is the name of the victim.
According to police, the couple lives at Tirupati Society in Dhanori. On Sunday night, the victim asked the accused if she could go to the village for her sister’s wedding. This led to a heated argument between the two. During which, Ravi hit Pallavi and cut her hair with a knife. He then stabbed her on the back with a knife. Pallavi was injured in the incident. She then filed a complaint against her husband.
The Vishrantwadi police are conducting further investigation into the matter.
