Pune: Man Beats Wife To Death After Dispute Over Looking After Children

Pune, 7th December 2021: A shocking incident took place in Kasewadi near Bhavani Peth where a husband beat his wife to death due to a domestic dispute.

The deceased has been identified as Asma Tousif Hawari Sheikh (35) of Kasewadi. Her husband Tousif Hasan Hawari (Sheikh) has been arrested by Khadak police station officials.

According to the police, the couple have three children. They often quarreled over looking after the children. While Asma was having dinner last night, their daughter was asking for food. After repeated demands from her, the husband and wife got into an argument again. Out of anger, Tousif kicked and punched Asma. He banged her head on the wall. Shortly after the quarrel ended, they went to sleep.

However, Asma did not wake up today morning. When she was taken to the hospital, doctors declared her dead on arrival.
