Pune: Man Brutally Beaten Due To Dispute Over Dog Snatching Chicken; Case Filed Against Seven
Pune, 24th September 2022: An incident of a man being beaten due to a dispute over a pet dog snatching a chicken and running away with it took place in the Loni Kalbhor area. A case has been registered against seven people and two have been arrested.
The names of the arrested are Ravindra Shivaji Kalbhor (55), and Mangesh Shivaji Kalbhor (42), both residents of Rupanwar Vasti, Loni Kalbhor. Dhananjay Veerkar (31), a resident of Rupanwar Vasti, Loni Kalbhor has filed a complaint in this regard at Loni Kalbhor Police Station.
Veerkar’s chicken was snatched by Kalbhor’s dog. Veerkar then asked about the same to Kalbhor. Then the accused Kalbhor and his accomplices beat Veerkar severely with a stick.
Veerkar’s wife tried to intervene but the accused abused her and pushed her away. Veerkar’s children were studying in the courtyard, reportedly, the accused threw stones in the children’s direction.
Veerkar has said in the complaint that the accused tried to kill him by creating terror. Police Sub-Inspector More is investigating the case further.
