Pune: Man Claiming To be Mathadi Workers Association Assault Company Officials For Hiring Workers Without His Permission, Booked

Pune 6th July 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police have booked a man claiming to be the president of Mathadi Workers Association and his associates for assaulting the officials of a company located in Wakad for not consulting them before hiring workers at their company. A case in this regard has been registered at Wakad police station.

The accused identified as Bablu Jogdand and two to three of his associates have been booked in the matter. According to police, the accused on Wednesday reached the company and assaulted the employees.

“I am a president of Mathadi Worker Association and how dare you hire workers without my permission?” the accused said while assaulting the complainant and his associates. The accused also took away a branded watch and gold ring worth Rs 40,000 of the complainant.

Police have booked the accused under sections 392, 323, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Police are investigating further in the matter.
