Pune : Man From Mumbai Arrested While Trying To Sell Drugs In City, Mephedrone Worth Rs 10 Lakh Seized
Pune 22nd August 2023: The Anti Narcotics Cell of Pune City Police has arrested a man from Mumbai while he had come to the city to sell drugs. The police team has seized Mephedrone worth Rs 10 lakh from his possession.
According to police, the crime branch unit had received information about a person coming to the city to sell drugs. Accordingly, the team laid a trap and the accused identified as Sohail Yunus Khopatkar was taken into custody.
Police have seized Mephedrone from his possession and a case has been registered at Bund Garden Police Station in the matter. Police have booked him under relevant sections of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
