Pune: Man Stuck In Swamp Rescued By Fire Brigade Officials
Nigdi 21st July 2023: A 65-year-old man stuck in a swamp in Nigdi was rescued by fire brigade officials on Friday. The victim identified as Nilkanth Patil accidentally got stuck in a swamp near a school in Nigdi Pradhikaran.
The fire brigade officials were informed about the incident at around 7:23 am by a local person. Upon reaching the site, the officials noticed that the victim was stuck deep in a swamp and was struggling to come out but failed.
A fire brigade officials used a ladder and rope to reach the victim and with the support of other personnel present at the spot he was taken out.
