Pune: Man Tries To Kill Wife For Opposing His Extramarital Affair
Chikhali, 1st February 2022: A 39-year-old man has been booked by Pimpri Chinchwad police for allegedly trying to kill his wife who opposed his extramarital affair. The accused also threatened to kill her parents and brother.
The incident took place at Moshi-Chikhali Road, Pune between 2012 and 31 January 2022.
Based on the complaint from the woman, an FIR has been registered against Mohsin Azim Zakir Hussain Sheikh (39), a resident of Moshi Chikhali Road, at the Chikhali police station.
According to the information given by police, the accused repeatedly demanded money from the complainant to buy a flat. The accused has been having an affair with a girl for four years and was opposed by the complainant. For that reason, he abused his wife and beat her physically and mentally. He also threatened to kill the parents and brother of the complainant.
