Pune, 15th November 2024: Independent candidate Manish Anand, contesting from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Nagar assembly constituency, has intensified his election campaign through a series of padyatras aimed at connecting with voters in every corner of the constituency. In a key meeting held today, Anand engaged with the Khadki Traders’ Association to discuss the challenges faced by local business owners, assuring them that he would work towards resolving their issues if elected.

As the campaign enters its final stretch, direct engagement with voters has become the focus for candidates. During his interaction with Khadki’s traders, Anand listened to their grievances and committed to addressing concerns related to traffic congestion and other problems in the market area.

In a series of religious visits to mark Guru Nanak Jayanti, Anand paid respects at gurdwaras in Khadki and Range Hills, where he interacted with community members and offered prayers. Later in the day, he also visited the Jama Masjid in Khadki, participating in Friday prayers.

The previous evening, Anand made a stop at a Buddhist vihara in Yerwada, where he spent time speaking with residents to better understand their concerns. During this visit, he announced plans to establish a library for local students and pledged to initiate talks with municipal authorities to resolve ongoing property tax issues affecting the community.

Anand’s focus on grassroots engagement and his promises to tackle local issues are seen as key components of his independent campaign, as he continues to garner support ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.
