Chinchwad, 15th November 2024: Rahul Kalate, the candidate from the Nationalist Congress Party – Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP) under the Mahavikas Aghadi for the Chinchwad constituency in the upcoming Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections, engaged directly with residents across various localities in Chinchwad, promising comprehensive development.

Kalate visited areas such as Ravet, Bijli Nagar, Premlok Park, Chinchwad Gaon, and Pimple Gurav, where he interacted with society members to listen to their concerns. He assured them of a tanker-free and problem-free Chinchwad, a key part of his election pledge. With the campaign nearing its end, Kalate has intensified his focus on direct voter engagement across the constituency.

Before meeting with residents, Kalate paid respects at the Shri Moraya Gosavi Maharaj Sanjivan Samadhi Mandir in Chinchwad Gaon and the Shree Dhaneshwar Mahadev Mandir. He also engaged in discussions with society members from locations like Infinity World Housing Society, Ruston Colony, and ABC Housing Society.

During his visits, Kalate received feedback from the public, who voiced concerns over issues such as inadequate water supply, electricity shortages, and poor road infrastructure. Many residents also expressed frustration with the previous neglect of their concerns, feeling that political power dynamics had overshadowed real community needs.

Kalate responded with a clear message: “This year, the voters of Chinchwad are determined to bring about a change through their right to vote. Key issues such as the development of houses within the Blue Line, regularisation of unauthorised houses, and ownership rights for homes under the Pimpri Chinchwad New Town Development Authority will be prioritized. I am committed to making Chinchwad tanker-free and problem-free. Allow me to work for the all-round development of our constituency.”

Madhav Patil, chief spokesperson of NCP-SP in Pimpri Chinchwad, emphasised Kalate’s commitment to local issues, stating, “Rahul Kalate is advocating for the completion of five proposed roads between Chinchwad and Hinjawadi and is taking the initiative to make Pimpri Chinchwad a pollution-free city. His vision includes ensuring that no sewage enters the Pavana River. We are confident that Rahul Kalate, an environmentalist and humanitarian, will be elected by the people.”
