Pune, 25th May 2026: Train services on the busy Daund–Manmad route will be affected for three days as Central Railway’s Pune Division undertakes infrastructure and safety upgradation work linked to the doubling project on the Visapur–Ranjangaon–Sarola section.

A Pre-Non-Interlocking and Non-Interlocking (NI) block will remain in operation from May 28 to May 30, 2026, resulting in cancellations, diversions, regulations and rescheduling of several long-distance and intercity trains.

Among the major cancellations are the 11026 Amravati–Pune Express and 11025 Pune–Amravati Express on select dates between May 27 and May 30. The VGL Jhansi–Hadapsar Special and Pune–Nagpur TOD services will also remain cancelled during the block period.

Several prominent trains have been diverted through alternate routes to facilitate the work. The 12130 Howrah–Pune Express, 22590 Hadapsar–Banaras Express, 11078 Jammu Tawi–Pune Express and 15030 Pune–Gorakhpur Express are among the trains that will run via the Manmad–Nashik Road–Kalyan–Panvel corridor on specified dates.

South and North-bound services including the 12627 KSR Bengaluru–New Delhi Express, 20657 Hubballi–Nizamuddin Express and 12780 Nizamuddin–Vasco Express will also operate on diverted routes through Solapur, Kurduwadi, Latur Road and Parbhani.

The 11410 Nizamabad–Pune Express and 11409 Daund–Nizamabad Express will run via Kurduwadi and Latur Road instead of the regular Daund–Manmad alignment during the block period. Similar diversions have been announced for the Hadapsar–Nanded and Nanded–Hadapsar Express trains.

Apart from diversions, several trains will face en-route regulation, leading to delays ranging from one hour to three-and-a-half hours. The Pune–Danapur Special, Lucknow–Pune Express, Mysuru–Hazrat Nizamuddin Express and Pune–Jammu Tawi Express are among the affected services.

Railways have also rescheduled departures of multiple trains originating from Pune and Hadapsar. The Pune–Gorakhpur Special will depart eight hours later than its scheduled timing on May 28 and May 30, while the Pune–Howrah Duronto Express will leave three hours late on May 30.

Similarly, the Hadapsar–Rewa Express and Hadapsar–Muzaffarpur Special have also been rescheduled due to the block.

Railway authorities have advised passengers to check updated train timings and running status before commencing their journey through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) portal or mobile application.
