Pune : Men On Bike Loot Pedestrian And Woman In Koregaon Park In Seperate Incidents, Probe On
Pune 23rd August 2023: The incidents of looting seems to be on rise in the Koregaon Park area as two people were looted in separate incidents in two days. The bikers looted cash and gold from citizens in two different incidents reported on August 20 and 21.
According to officials, one such incident was reported on August 20 when bikers snatched an old necklace worth Rs 70,000 from a woman at around 10:30 pm from Lensecourt Bus Stop in the Koregaon Park area. The woman has lodged a complaint with police in the matter.
In another incident reported on August 21, a 31-year-old hotel worker was threatened and robbed of Rs 11,000 cash and a mobile phone when he was returning home after duty. The accused threatened him using a sharp weapon and ran away with mobile phone and cash. A complaint in this regard has been registered at Koregaon Park Police Station under relevant sections. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
