Pune Metro Commuters Face Delay As Train Halts For 25 Minutes At PMC Station

Shivajinagar, 26th October 2023: A Pune Metro train remained stationary for approximately 25 minutes at the PMC Station, causing inconvenience to commuters. The incident occurred around 6:50 pm, and no actions were taken by the authorities to address the situation promptly.
In response to the disruption, Pune Metro stated that an investigation has been initiated to identify the cause of the stoppage and that metro has been shifted to depo. It was explained by them that during the incident, a single line was used for transportation, potentially leading to delays of other trains. However, the issue was resolved within the span of 25 minutes.
The incident has raised concerns among citizens, as Pune Metro is relatively new, and such disruptions prompt questions about its operational reliability. The metro train came to a standstill on the Aqua Line, which operates between Vanaz and Ramwadi, impacting the daily commute of many passengers.
