Pune: Hinjawadi Police Cracks Down On Illegal Sale Of Liquor
Hinjawadi, 26th October 2023: Hinjawadi police have taken action against a woman accused of engaging in the illegal sale of liquor. The operation was conducted in the village of Maan at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday (25th).
Police Constable Vikram Kudale has lodged a formal complaint regarding this incident at the Hinjawadi Police Station (Pimpri Chinchwad Police). Subsequently, a case has been registered against the woman involved.
According to the police, the accused woman was found to be in unlawful possession of liquor intended for unauthorized sale. Upon receiving information, the Hinjawadi police conducted a raid near the Javadekar construction site in Maan and seized a significant quantity of country-made liquor with an estimated value of Rs. 1,97,250.
The police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
