Pune Metro Writes To PMC And PCMC For Parking Space At Metro Stations
Pune, 1st July 2023: The Pune Metro officials have approached Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) to seek their help in getting space for the parking at metro stations.
According to reports, the Metro has parking space at only 7 metro stations out of 30 stations located in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. The Metro officials are struggling to make the space available for parking at the remaining stations due to land issues.
As a result, Metro has now asked PMC and PCMC to help them get the space for parking for the Metro stations. Currently the parking space for Pune Metro is available at Pimpri Chinchwad Station, Sant Tukaram Maharaj Nagar Station, Ideal Colony, Magalwar Peth, Civil Court, Vanaz Depot and Swargate Metro station. Pune Metro will connect 33.2 Km of area in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad through two different corridors.
