Pune: MHADA Launches Online Registration for Flats, Invites Applications

Pune, June 16, 2025: The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has started online registration for the sale of 52 residential flats and 28 office spaces across Pune, Solapur, Sangli, Satara, and Kolhapur districts under various schemes. These properties will be sold through an e-auction process in accordance with the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Regulations of 1981, and the MHADA Act, 1981.
Detailed information regarding eligibility criteria, property details, social reservations, terms and conditions, and the application process is available on www.eauction.mhada.gov.in and www.mhada.gov.in. MHADA Chief Officer of Pune Board Rahul Sakore has urged citizens to apply online for these opportunities.
Distribution of flats that remain vacant after the lottery under the 15% Social Housing Scheme and the 20% Inclusive Scheme will be carried out on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. The registration process has been ongoing since 10th April, at https://bookmyhome.mhada.gov.in, and eligible beneficiaries are encouraged to submit their applications. The allocation of remaining flats from developers will also continue on the same basis.
Meanwhile, following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0 on 17th November 2024, the Maharashtra government has begun implementing the scheme based on the ‘Housing for All’ concept. MHADA Pune will execute affordable housing projects under this initiative, and interested beneficiaries should register on the unified portal at https://pmaymis.gov.in.
The entire distribution process is online and transparent, with approval letters provided directly in the beneficiary’s login with the Deputy Chief Officer’s digital signature. No documents will be issued with a physical signature or stamp, ensuring a fully digital and secure process.
