Pune MHADA Lottery: Deadline For 4,462 Flats Extended To Oct 15
Pune, 21st September 2026: The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has extended the deadline for applications for its lottery of 4,462 flats announced by the Pune Housing and Area Development Board, providing relief to citizens aspiring to own a home in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and adjoining areas.
Applicants can now register and submit their applications online until October 15. The final computerised lottery will be held on November 26. The earlier deadline for submitting applications was in September. The Pune board decided to extend the deadline considering difficulties faced by applicants in collecting documents and completing the application process during the Ganesh festival and other festive occasions.
The lottery includes 4,462 flats under various housing schemes. Of these, 2,971 flats are under the 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme, while 1,491 are under the 15% Social Housing Scheme.
Of the total flats, 1,468 are located within the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) limits, 1,406 in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) area and 1,588 in the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) area.
The lottery also includes 558 flats that remained unsold in the previous two lotteries. The flats are available in different configurations, including 1 RK, 1 BHK, 1.5 BHK and 2 BHK, with prices ranging from around Rs 11 lakh to Rs 64 lakh.
As per the revised schedule, the deadline for submitting online applications is October 15 at 5pm, while the earnest money deposit (EMD) can be paid online until 11.59pm the same day. Applicants opting to pay through RTGS/NEFT will have to submit the bank challan by 3pm on October 16.
The draft list of accepted applications will be published at 7pm on November 12. Applicants can submit claims and objections until 5pm on November 14. The final list of eligible applicants will be published at 7pm on November 20.
The official computerised lottery will be held at 11am on November 26, with the names of successful applicants scheduled to be published at 6pm the same day.
Applicants have to complete the entire process online through MHADA’s official website or mobile application. The authority has urged applicants to upload all required documents, including income certificates and domicile certificates, correctly while submitting their applications.
MHADA has also cautioned citizens against approaching brokers or unauthorised persons and advised them to apply directly through the official website.
